Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have to make an appointment to come to the chapel?
We offer weddings 7 days a week and often a very small wedding will be in the middle of a regular work day. In order to insure their privacy (as well as yours) an appointment is necessary.

How many people can I invite?
The chapel, as well as the garden, comfortably accommodates 50 seated guests. This does not include the bride and groom or those in the bridal party that will remain standing with them. What we have discovered over the years is that you can invite lots of guests to the wedding and they don’t all come. By inviting your closest family members and friends to the ceremony, others often feel “off the hook”, they get to come to the party and didn’t have to come to the ceremony.

If my ceremony is going to take place in the garden, can I invite more people?
Unfortunately, if the weather is unfavorable, your “back-up” plan will be the chapel (which seats 50). Also, the fire marshal determines how many people can be in a building and we must comply with those rules.

I am inviting 150 people to my reception, how do I word my invitation?
We will show you how to word your invitation letting everyone know that you are being married in a private ceremony and they are invited to celebrate with you at the reception.

Why do I get your answering machine during regular business hours?
We offer weddings 7 days a week and often a very small wedding will be in the middle of a regular work day. If you reach our machine and need us to call you ASAP, you can mark the call as urgent. We check the answering machine several times a day.
